Korumburra's iconic Coal Creek has now reopened!

Coal Creek is a showcase of South Gippsland's facinating history.

As a community park, Coal Creek is both an entertainment facility for local events and a popular picnic, relaxation and historical venue.

There’s so much to experience, plan at least one full day, or better yet, two days to enjoy all that’s on offer. Pre-booking of tours, penguin viewing and 3 Parks Passes is recommended. Tour and penguin arrival times change with daylight hours.

Travel through the rolling hills of the Strzelecki Ranges on Heritage rolling stocks such as Victorian 1928 Diesel Electric Rail Motors, 1955 South Australian Red Hens rail Motors adn Victorian 1950's Y class locomotive hauling 1930's passenger cars. Take a tour through the 1908 built heritage listed Korumburra Station.

We also run charter trains for groups and bus tours. We are the home of the Dream Come True Program where you get to drive the train.

Catering for individuals, parties or groups of up to 50, Stony Creek is one of the few Go-Kart Tracks who Hire Karts as well as providing facilities to bring your own. This terrific new entertainment venue with a great cafe and other games facilities on site, is conveniently located on the South Gippsland Highway approximately 130 kilometres South East of Melbourne, Victoria.

Located on the outskirts of Meeniyan (gateway to Wilson's Promontory), racing at Stony Creek comes alive from November and extends over the summer months with seven great race days for the season.

Stony Creek Racing Club conducts a number of popular, race day events including: Ladies Day, Gourmet Gallops and the Stony Creek Cup in March.
